Student-oriented funds directly support the experiences that help students learn, connect, and grow. Your contribution helps provide classroom tools, extracurricular opportunities, leadership development, and cultural experiences - ensuring every student has access to the full range of opportunities to make their education meaningful and memorable.

Melba & Virgil Bippus Academic Fund

The goal of this fund is to serve student(s) in Kindergarten through 12th grade who experience fiscal and/or academic challenges. It directly benefits target-eligible students(s) to participate in opportunities that develop their academic achievement and/or leadership skills. These opportunities may vary from providing tutoring services, educational materials to fit student(s) needs, attendance to workshops, attendance to academic-driven summer camps, or other fitting opportunities that strengthen their academic achievement and/or leadership skills

Rosetta
Fund

The goal of the Rosetta Fund is to assist students of color with an opportunity, either directly or indirectly, such as attending the Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S.), supporting a family with visiting their child at ISD, helping families to acquire ASL skills to communicate with their Deaf child(ren), hiring BIPOC speakers to inspire students, parents, and staff or any other opportunity that would enhance their academic achievement and leadership skills.

Sculley Career Exploration Fund

The purpose of this fund is to support senior high school/ trade school students who demonstrate willingness to thrive in the “working” world. This fund has been established for deserving students at ISD to provide career exploration opportunities in technology or trades fields.
